run for hope

we left the house for east coast park before sunrise and gosh I was so tired!! "Run For Hope" is formaly known as "Terry Fox Run" and all proceeds go to the "National Cancer Centre of Singapore". We managed to find the main tent and asked what sort of help we could offer. The guy just dropped a bomb on me when he told us we can help the drink station which was 2km ahead! So we took a slow jog to the drink station.
Later on we joined back the crowd and ran back to the finish line. My stamina sucks man!! I was panting when I reached the line haha! I guess the silliest thing I did in the morning was to participate in their "warm down" exercise.. it's pretty much like the "singapore workout"
I can so picture my dad in his 70s grabbing his goodie bag and joining the other old folks from the community centre in such events. hahahahaha!
To sum it all, quite FUN leh!
OMG! Now then I realise we have the same nose, lips and chin!
